An appeal is only admissible if you first validly disputed the fine and received a formal rejection of your objection or a decision of non-admissibility. You can only appeal against this decision if you first submitted an objection.
The appeal must be filed with the Police Court of Antwerp (Justitiepaleis, Bolivarplaats 20, bus 3, 2000 Antwerpen, België ) within 30 days of receiving the decision of rejection or non-admissibility of the objection. The appeal must always be filed in writing. Depending on the case, the Police Court Judge will take a decision on the inadmissibility of the initial objection.
